how can i block myspace, mainly with firefox i got adblock plus i added it there

ive googled and googled and tried everything on google like adding it to the host file and all that but the host file will not save any ideas?

its my inlaws computer and everytime my little sister inlaw goes to myspace the computer is just soooo slow and the internet almost stops working, i reset the router all the time and every time i have them scan it with spybot and ad-aware and it always gets the same spyware, once deleted its fine again so my solution to keep me from having to fix it all the time and they agreed was to just block myspace, i go on myspace sometimes on my pc and i never get shit, so i dunno if its the profiles shes viewing or just clicking random shit, gotta be :/ so its blocked but i googled how to do it and i did the hosts and shit and nothing was working

I was joking about unplugging the router....but my Netgear does have domain blocking. Under "Block Sites", type in a domain. It might be another option if you can't figure it out in Windows.
