Video Problems

Ok, so I have a video that's in MPEG-4 format, or .mp4, same thing right?

Well it's in like HD form, so when I open it in Quicktime, it opens a huge window. And I can't play the video because it's to laggy for my PC I guess?

And it like freezes my whole PC...is there any way I can like...downgrade the video quality or something so I can watch it?

Try opening the video file in a different but compatible video player.
Or maybe download the correct codec for .mp4 for Windows Media Player so you can play it in Media Player.
