i don't get it
when i try to play fullscreen i spike horribly, sometimes into the four-digit ping range. when i play windowed all seems to be well with the world. what gives?

I guess you've tried the usual? Uninstall/reinstall continuum, Install new video card drivers, revert to older video card drivers, install monitor drivers, make sure you don't have virus/spyware, system restore, disk defrag, take off extra settings in windows (if you don't know what I'm talking about let me know), mess with all the options continuum has in both advanced options and regular options. I tried all this stuff before when I was having FPS issues, when I was playing in chaos with the higher res I was getting a little under 60, which was weird because I knew before I was getting 60+ and sometimes in TW my FPS would drop too, so I tried all the above with no luck. Finally I was curious if maybe one of my fans was no longer working and the video card was getting too hot, sure enough that was the problem. Opened up the tower, put a fan on it and my fps doesn't drop below 60 even with a bunch of programs open. Gonna get that fixed one of these days. Of course if none of this fixes your problem you could try overclocking your video card or getting a new one or getting more ram, but if you were getting good FPS before, and you're not now, then you shouldn't need to do that.1:Best> lol why is everyone mad that roiwerk got a big dick stickin out his underwear, it's really attractive :P

fuuuuuck, it's happening again. last time enabling software emulation fixed it, but now it's doing it even with that option checked. so in addition to my usual 25-30 choppy fps, now the fucking game is unplayable in fullscreen mode. i refuse to use windowed mode, so don't even suggest it.
