Continuum.exe Contamination

Note to everyone using Vista: never install anything in the default (usually program files) folder. Make your own XYZ or whatever directory if you don't like having programs installed on root, but forget about the program files. Vista is so stern in denying access to that folder to anyone/any program/anything that it evokes ten times more issues than it solves.

When installing UNTICK "TeaTimer" Rest of the defaults are fine.

This should clean your computer of the spyware that is stopping continuum running.

Run a scan and clean everything!

i cant play continuum all of a sudden. when i click the shortcut or load it normally, it refuses to load and i press ctrl alt delete to see theres actually 30-40 continuum.exe being executed, each at around 4000k mem usage, but not all the same, and theyre constantly respawning and deleting within the task manager, unable to be ended as a process tree, and when you try end process it just deletes as soon as another returns. the only affected program is continuum and the only way to run it is with 'Run As' and even then, when i try it's unable to create a zone.lvl for any of them. i have reinstalled many times. also when it fails to create a zone.lvl it also deletes my default settings and profile changes, so its very tedious to keep trying. this suddenly occured overnight and i have tried flabby's install to no avail. i literally must replace my entire pc to play this game. (on a futher note, when turning off the pc after loading continuum normally (now the wrong way), before it can change from windows to shutoff theres a dozen beeps with the message saying something about continuum and .dll refusing access (initialization has failed)

I should also note that everything was working perfectly last night , and before i left to go have a social life i figured i'd be conservative and shut it off for once, and in doing so, have prompted the viruses already present to take over. i have no virus protection and i may have uninstalled or taken down my firewall that day. i know nothing can be done, but i also have a birthday in 8 days and some couple hundred dollars going towards: http://www.dynamism.com/wibrain-b1/main.shtml

Try creating a new folder like continuum2, in the same default directory (C:/program files/continuum2) and install it in there. I don't know why it's uninstalling, maybe a virus?

Its a big buggy though, make sure you have all your stuff (including passwords) backed up before using it.

Everytime I install continuum, it deletes my continuum.exe out of the folder. What is going on, some kind of virus or some shit? I have 6 continuum folders, no .exe LOL
