Trying to set a Proxy Server

Yeah, i'm trying to set a proxy server on ss so I can play at school. Whenever I put one in it says this:

SOCKS error 4 (00000000)
Check Proxy Configuration

I have this typed in the settings:

Enable SOCKS5 Proxy Server is checked.

Host: 200.67.144.177
Port: 1080

Use Socks5 Authentication isnt checked.

I have tried many servers, same error.

Any help?

You have to put something like:

Secuity
and use port 8080

I ve tried it before and didn't work but if you can try disabling any fire walls on that computer but the school probly has a fire wall for the entire network. Basicly if you are not a network admin it will be hard to do it.

Most basic networks have a firewall 4 sure. So I'd say just stop trying right there and then.

Also, try doing some actual school work for a change.

Do schoolwork? At school? What kind of logic is that?
