I have recently downloaded the windows media 9 series codec from the microsoft site and now its messed up and tries to download a codec everytime i try to open a file. Is there a way to uninstall the codec (or the player) and reinstall?

You can't remove WM9 unless your using Win2k. There is a option called System restore that would allow you to remove it. It could also be a conflict between 2 or more codec on your system. If you have a different codec on your system try removing it and then try WM9 again.Last edited by Kolar; 04-11-2003, 12:49 PM.
