Comcast lag

Anyone else in Washington State having a high c2s issue? last night mine was 4.1% and today its 3.4%

Windfall, Smokes Bowls, Banned4life and Sir Spider all live near me and have comcast and had Identical lag. When i called comcast they say NOPE EVERYTHING IS OKIE DOKIE.

Is this a ISP issue or something going on with SS?

My actual IP isn't in that post. 192.168.1.1 is the router's ip

So i did another help call last night and asked about the HOPONE server and the onaswer i got was pretty much beyond our control and its just a sit and wait.

Is this accurate?

Yes. Like I told you. mega newbie couldnt play in our last 3 twl games cuz of a hopserver... nothing u can do but wait till they fix it and they really arent concerned with 2d space pilots lagging

first off: line 3 is your IP
the first 2 lines are attempts (failed) to trace to your Router.... the third line is the actual router.

second off: Hopone has always had issues. Just check SSForum's Tech Support board. you will see numerous Lag problem threads that all basically go down to one thing: HopOne....

Traces/pings to HopOne always spike because as a security measure
the host turned off those options to ppl unauthorized to obtain that info...
Something they supposedly do to stop D.O.S attacks (or so i hear) because it basically returns
false or no info back to you from those requests...

Like rootbeer said there are lots of threads on SSforum about HopOne.
No-one but HopOne can do anything about it, some times yo u can reboot your
router and it re-routes through other severs getting around HopOne...
