Phishing atempts and spam targeting registered tw forum users

I have been receiving spam/phishing from guru@forums.be-damned.com. I haven't clicked any links but if I'm receiving a lot these emails recently, so safe to say a lot of others probably are too. Looks like someone is using all email addresses registered at trenchwars.org forums. Here is the text of the latest email I received:

Is anyone else receiving these emails? The emails seem targeted for tw users, I wouldn't click the links just in case it is more than spam.

Uhm that doesn't seem to be a fishing e-mail at all. It's an old forum being exploited by bots that are posting topics and PM-ing the registered members. You probably registered once there with your e-mail address.

http://www.be-damned.com/forums/twforums/ holds a valid (although very old) IPB forum.
