Would windows 7 improve my computers performance? (games)

A while back I posted asking for help with dealing with a crappy on board nvidia gfx card. I just kinda sucked it up and dealt with it but its still nagging me. One of the problems you guys told me about was vista being too much for my mere 1 gig of ram coupled with the shitty gfx card.

So I was just wondering how is Windows 7 on ram? Would switching to windows 7 imrprove my game performance?

If you download the 32 bit version of Windows 7 you will definetly be better off, 64 bit has a memory leak issue or some crap but still runs better than vista.

Download 32 bit windows 7, and if you brought 1gb of ram to make it 2gb you would see huge improvement.
