For Slaughter (since he is banned from forums?)

He says he was banned from the game, and never got unbanned from forums when he was unbanned from the game... might wanna fix that. Not sure why he's banned from forums though.

anyway...

Well assuming that he did all the advanced option shit like disabling clipping and everything chances are that when he switched from Vista back to XP that it also carried back with it some outdated drivers, and probably reverted from the directX 9.0 end user that he probably had with Vista into an older shittier version during the port.

So.. update you drivers again (especially video card)

and

go download the newest DirectX again.

Should fix it.
