my speakers continually pop when i'm using skype. it's not your typical network related drop outs. voices sound perfectly normal and clear, but they're layered with these brips and pops that sound more like interference than anything. it's very similar to the sound you'll get when you put a cell phone too close to a speaker.
i'm doing video at the same time, and that is staying perfectly clear with no hiccups or macro blocking or anything. so that furthers my belief that this audio issue isn't network related.
i'm using a logitech quickcam pro 9000, which has a built-in mic. i have logitech z560 speakers (a 4.1 system). i'm not hearing any echo. and the parties on the other end of my calls don't have the brips and pops. it's only coming through over my speakers on my end.
what gives?
