Continuum wont launch

So I tried to open continuum and it wont open. I go to task manager (xp) and continuum.exe keeps flashing up and dissapearing on the processes list, sometimes multiple times at once.
Is there a known fix or do I have to reinstall?

man, i had that, can't remember what program i installed that caused it though. have you installed anything recently?

edit: i remember I had to right click on the ss icon and choose 'run as'

I installed 'Microsoft Silverlight' right before it happened

It could have also been a normal daily update to your anti-virus program that changed the way it reacts to program behavior. There's been lots of times when anti-virus programs messed with continuum. I have Silverlight installed at home, and it doesn't affect me. I'm pretty sure Silverlight wouldn't affect the behavior of other programs. That's like saying Continuum won't let Microsoft Word run correctly, lol.
