You have found a number of encrypted files on a domain computer and need to decrypt them as soon as possible. You login as the local administrator but are unable to decrypt the files. Why is the administrator account unable to do this?

because the admin didnt encrypt the files

if the admin did encrypt the file, then the only explaination would be that a secondary admin account was created and the primary was deleted. thus it looks like the admin encrypted it but isnt letting u.

the only ways to decrypt files is:

to have the key
be the user who encrypted it
be a user with permission

pretty sure thats all.
