Cant open continuum anymore

    Cant open continuum anymore

    And by the looks of the cursor its continuously trying to load continuum.exe.
    I can also tell by opening task manager because the continuum.exe's are coming and going (sometimes up to 4 at once).
    Can someone please help me with this problem?

    What Windows are you on?
    Tried running it as administrator / compatibility mode?

            Edit: I am able to open it in "Run as" mode...but thats still annoying

              Probably a virus...avg full pc scan is done within 1 sec and "clean".
              And avg acting weird besides that as well.

                  Sorry, was watching a movie with GF.

                  You did try to re-install the game? From a fresh DL? And try a new location if you didn't yet.

                  Might ofcourse be a virus acting funny too, i don't know much about them cause i barely ever get viruses :X.. You didn't install something new / updated some drivers since the last time you played?

                      Ok ty, reab and dimdum...and jerome (for the tip with better anti virus software)
                      Reinstalled windows, got different anti virus software now.
                      I can open ss again now...
                      But (new problem) high s2c and spikes High:6390 ms.

                      Any ideas on how to fix that?

                        Pretty sure that's just windows downloading updates since you just reinstalled it.

                        Either that or your computer was a major hub for a botnet and everything is continuing to try to connect to your IP.

                        ...Or you could just be having some ISP problems.

                        ... Or you need to update your networking drivers

                        ... or the list of 100+ other possibilities it could be.
