Keyboard/Controller Definitions

Recently, I tried to change my key defs and found that no matter what key I input for any of the controls (movement, weapons, etc.) it always shows "Key7". I am not sure which key is "Key7" but when I log in with these changes, the function for those controls changed to "Key7" are always active.

For example, if I try to change my left movement key and my fire key, they will both show up as "Key7" in the Keyboard/Controller Definitions menu and then when I log in, I will constantly be turning left and shooting without touching my keyboard.

I can play with the defaults, but it would be nice to be able to change a few things.

Anyone got an idea?

another thing to try: start computer in safe mode, create keydefs, then restart and play away
it seems as though you have a key stuck though, but not sure which it would be

I will constantly be turning left and shooting without touching my keyboard.

This used to happen to me randomly. Not that this post helps you any..
