My Monitor...

I just bought a 19' Trinitron Dell Monitor with a Sony tube and it's sweet and all but when I open up IE I see two lines about 4 inches apart. I don't see them when I'm playing games though.

where? what kind of lines? be more specific.

From a freinds computer shop, It's 2 thin grey lines splitting the screen into 3 pieces. One of them is at the top and one of them is at the bottom. The middle piece is much larger then both of them.
