Configuring Windows

Hello smart people,

Anyone know how you modify what shows up in the Windows "right-click->New..." menu? It annoys me that I have to scroll past useless things like Excel Spreadsheet and Publisher Document. If I'm going to create a new spreadsheet, I do it in Excel.

All I want is New...->Folder/Shortcut/Txt Document. If I really want to create another kind of file, I can always create a text document and rename it with a different extension.

The first way is a registry hack, (disclamer - this can mess up your computer fast) I'm not going to go into that... But TweakUI will do it for you, search google find the link. Hope that helps.
