it seems that my campus network wont allow any internet gaming off network..anyone wanna tell me how to get around this if it is possible? f34r

Erm You could ask then to open the port for the game/unblock it. But I asume your posting here because they won't. So try using a proxy.

Most likely, the reason that you can not play is because they have a firewall in place to protect the network.

Yes, but you need a computer outside the firewall to be the proxy server.
