The GIFs won't play on my computer

I used to use Opera a lot, and it had problems displaying the TW Forums properly, including the avatars. This doesn't help you a bit, but at least we know it isn't an isolated incident, eh?

Opera 6.01 on XP doesn't have any problems. F12->check enable gif animations.

IE->Internet Options->Advanced->Multimedia->Play animations in web pages

ok i fixed it - it was actually a firewall problem - zone alarm was blocking all the animations cuz i had the popup blocker set to high.

Beware ZoneAlarm, it has a security hole on Port 67 leaving hackers to freely gain access to your system.
