Has anyone ever used the proxy options in Continuum?

If yes, I need to configure my proxy options to connect to the game servers. There is a firewall, therefore I was wondering how, or which programs I can use to tunnel through the firewall. I just hope someone here has succesfully used the proxy options.

Nope. Every time I try to set up a proxy, it just totally freezes the game, and I have to take out the proxy with RegEdit before Continuum will even load again.
