I have a Virus..

Hello, I recently have been having troubles with my computer. First of all I can not access my task manger via ctrl alt delete. I also can not run regedit and msconfig. It turns out I have a virus called cmd32.exe. It seems I have gotten it from kazaa. Well I have been trying to get it off for the past week any I am very unlucky. I have been reading fourms after fourms trying to learn how to take this puppy out, however, I havn't found an easy way to do it. If any of you have had this virus or know of a way to take it out I would be thrilled to know. Thanks.


P.S: I have ran Spybot, Adware, many many virus scaners , i.e HouseCall, Mcafee, and all that Jaz.

In the past I used a program called Ultra Wincleaner, and it did EVERYTHING to clear shit out of my system. If you can find it, I reccomend that. It might cost you some money, though.

Just d/l some proper antivirus program and stop using kazaa because it sucks deep

effective solution:
step 1
- put on some old clothes
- take a weapon of your choice
- Put on a helmet with a light
step 2
- try to make yourself as little as possible
- find a little hole in your pc
- enter your computer and start looking for the virus
step 3: so you've found your virus
- take the weapon of your choice in your right hand
- aproach the virus, not makin any noise at all
- kill it by using your weapon in a right way
- do not leave any evidence behind.

Well last night I took the sucker out, but now I have another problem. Everytime I log onto my computer I get an error message that says it cannot find cmd32.exe. Meh. I can not find a way to make it go away. I read last night that there is a real cmd.exe in the system folders, so cmd32.exe masked it's self as the cmd.exe. I'm not sure what to do.

I was thinking about that two nights ago, but I have way to much crap on my computer to back it up. So I'm stuck finding a way to get myself out of this mess that I created for myself.

Cmd32.exe is a worm/trojan. It may have been deleted but Windows will still look for it.

Delete these Registry keys:



[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run \"CMD"="cmd32.exe"]
[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run Services\"CMD"= "cmd32.exe"]
[HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run Once\"CMD"= "cmd32.exe"]
[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\"CMD"="cmd32.exe"]
[HKLM\Software\Krypton]
[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\"Shell"= "explorer.exe %SYSTEM%\cmd32.exe"]

That should fix it. If not run Norton or House call in safe mode.

Edit:Also be careful when deleting anything, you can really fuck up your computer this way.

Recently I had the PARITE_A and PARITE_B viruses that infect each .exe when you run them. It detected over 600 on my computer due to the fact that I have a lot of games. Had to reformat, and couldnt back any programs up at all cause the virus infectesd the exes and put a hidden dll in the exe's directory.

Coz I just did and I need some serious help:
i did a virus scan last night and it found over 160 virusses. The scanner (Kaspersky) tried to clean it and deleted the virusses. When the scanning was done i had to reboot. So i rebooted my pc and when it has finsished loading all the settings, it just freezes... any help?
