This is a proposal for an MMR League (Nov & Dec 2022)
To: Volunteer Trench Wars Zone Decision Makers, Volunteer League Operators, potential Volunteer contributors & interested player participants.
MMRL Volunteer Operators: Warrior, sarger, rifirside, Cape, (+1).
We are seeking 1 more OPs: all time regions.
MMRL Volunteer Hosts: Warrior, sarger, rifirside, Jessup, Dwopple, Clark Kentaro, Cape, (+3)
We are seeking 3 more League Hosts: all time regions.
Until games can be & are automated, Hosts will manually start games by pming the bot with learned prompts, and input stats on Shared Spreadsheet based off the Game ID#.

To summarize: a players ship rating increase or decrease is entirely dependent on whether the players team wins or loses (...or draws? heh).
How does MMR League (MMRL) work?
A player must have played a minimum of 20 games to be eligible to enter during MMRL times (ship 1 or 2).
The minimum number of games required increases by ~5 games (ie 30 games by Nov 30) every couple weeks.
Player incentives to participate:
Via MMR Forums:
Scheduled mmr games (EST time), with no minimum game requirement, open to all players:
Nov 1, 2022 or Nov 15, 2022
Proposed MMR League Finish Date:
Dec 30, 2022
MMRL Host & Operators Responsibilities
This role is unpaid.
Take a step back from voluntarily contributing if something comes up, and add practical value when you do have capacity.
We welcome practical & constructive feedback, in many formats.
If you have interest and an hour every week or two to contribute to hosting, we'd be down. Please ?message one of the OPs; in-game or on Forums.
Want to participate as a player?
In order to play: log in during one of the scheduled MMRL times with 20+ games played.
Then, enjoy games with players that have 20+ games played in ?go twjd3 or ?go twdd3.
We may provide a site (similar or equal to this) that pulls & broadcasts the top 5 MMRL players in rating, and top 5 player improvement.

- Increase (normalize & automate) usage of the mmr rating system for warbird 5v5 and javelin 5v5 games
- Increase individual player & TW communal activity
- Introduce multiple time regions of play

- Player Spreadsheet of individual MMRL stats posted on Forums
- Announce players with the top 5 *increase in MMR rating* within MMRL scheduled games
- Announce players with the top 5 MMRL players (scheduled games)
- Announce players with the top 5 MMR ratings (overall, scheduled & non-scheduled games)
- Sundays at 12pm (noon)
- Sundays at 6pm
- Thursdays at 8pm
Scheduled mmr games (EST time), with no minimum game requirement, open to all players:
- Saturdays at 2pm
- Tuesdays at 5pm
- Tuesdays at 8pm
- Mmr games hosted by non MMRL Staff members (which is what is happening now)
