So it's possible that this has been discussed before, in which case I'm sorry for bringing it up again, but why isn't there a TW division for spiders?

I think there definitely is enough interest from it. Maybe most people playing WBs wouldn't like it but the top basing squads definitely would. It would involve lots of teamwork and swarming, and I've seen lately a trend of basers occasionally congregating in elim and voting spider elim to 10. There are even events like spiderdm and webcrawler, and the teams that usually seem to win these are those that have the best teamwork.

It would be like the WB league but a lot more teamwork, and it would teach people to spider.

Regarding a map, I would encourage one similar to that in TWDD maps but a lot smaller, and where spiders spawn in opposite sides or safes, to avoid getting spawned.

There are other ways this league might be able to take form; maybe instead of a normal elim to 10 it would have 10 rounds where the winning team each time is the one with survivors (granted that once a spider on one team dies, that team is at a severe disadvantage since it can't swarm as effectively; then again, this might simply encourage spiders to play more cautiously and be more careful with their deaths).

I really think that if a spider league was created, it would have a lot of interest.

Yeah, just copy TWD-d and change setships to 3 instead of 1. Move 1 bot to twds and don't connect it to the site.

Make the TWDD map smaller, and you got a nice spider league. Maybe implement it for next season of TWD?

Hm, maybe it should be more a TWD-j arena, with a spawnzone you have to move away from within a set time.

Interesting subject/topic & on a similar note!

I wondered why TWDSB has not been added to league.

There are only 5 ppl required to play this (4 + 1 Sub) best of 3 rounds. It's closer to an actual sport than most areas of play and most squad have 5 people that actually have played.

Majority of the users on TW will say it sucks, but hey I think the TWDD & TWJD suck too. But with 5 people per squad participating, it's not like it would be a problem to get players.

Try it out sometime....it's called StrikeBall (?go Strikeball)

i never much cared for the idea before but i would like to try it for a while....

but then people would be calling for a 4th league in TWL for the top 16 qualifiers of TWSD :-/ and that'd just be too much i think for TWL

the only possible other ship after spider that you could use would be lancs, since its sort of a dueling ship too.... but that'd just suck... cus the lancs (alongside the weasel and levi) are the most useless ships and not fun at all.
