!challenge squad:4 (or 5/6/7/8). (challenges the squad for a game where (max) 4 players can play). If the :4 is not definied there is no extra player limit in the game. If there is a player limit, the challenged squad will see it in the challenge squadmessage the bot sends.

I would like an option to be able to challenge for a TWBD with a minimum of 7/8 players.

I was going to say TWBD is friendly enough that you don't need a :maxplayers. But you are asking for minimum. What happens if you start with 7-8 and someone has to leave? Forfeit?

i dont think that a good idea rr, let limit from 5 to 8. so you can give small squads chance to build up. If you dont wanna play less than 7s you just dont accept or challenge 5s and 6s, on holy we used to cancel if the other team didnt want to do 5s or 6s its just an agreement situation.

It's fine to make it a forfeit if you accept but then can't field the number you accept. But if you field the minimum number and then someone has to leave, that shouldn't be a forfeit.

you could make sure u have a sub, reliable players, or not accept at all.

Agreed. If u dont have a sub then u should challenge 1 number down. SO if u got 8 online, challenge for 7 so u got 1 sub.

I dotn think u should make it only 7/8 tho. Thats pretty stupid. Thats what the feature of !challenge:# is for. If u challenge a squad to a 8v8 game im sure they wouldnt accept it if they got 5. They'll prolly challenge back with a 5v5 challenge. Plus there is a !cancel command so if they got 5 u can cancel it. Last but not least, ur on diso. U dont need to requalify so it doesnt even matter if u guys just up and leave, or spec and let the game be a loss.

Well i guess ur rite there lol. But im sure diso isnt challenging "newbies" so to say since ur auto-qualify. Im sure ur playing squads like a-s, mambo,etc who are usualy smart. Plus like i said above there is a !cancel command if u dont see ppl coming u can cancel. Or u could just spec and make the game not count since u guys dont need the points for anything special. OR you could spec and freeze the bot up. LOL Unless they fixed that.

I don't know what to think about this new format, I mean, TWD is after all also used to decide what squads go into TWL. And no matter what, TWL is 5v5 in J and D and 8v8 in B. If you give people the idea that any other way is sufficient, you also lose the connectivity with TWL.
It already pisses me off that some newer players think that 4v4 is acceptable in all cases. Like in ?go wbduel, some captains decide they are going to do a 4v4 while there are still people in spec that want to play. Or in TWDD where people lose round one with 5v5 and then decide they want to play 4v4, probably because they want to get rid of their weakest player. And saying you don't accept it is seen as a lame thing or cheating. No you will just have to accept their weakness.
Where do they get this bullshit? I don't know where it's coming from, but either make leagues 4v4 or ditch this module.

I can see your point but i think that 4v4 twdd/twjd and m5 to 8 twbd on twd helps new squads to twd. Imagine someone trying to build a new basing squad now for example, they will prolly have to get arround 15 ppl to have 8 online at same to base with no subs. Its ezier build up a new squad with 3 very active ppl, 1 more you can dd or jd, 2 bd. I also believe that this new !challenge:# command was made to solve all those problems.

Agreed. Sometimes squads simply dont have more then 4 online to JD/DD. I dotn think it hurts at all to have the availability to play a game with 4v4. I dont like 5v5 or even 6v6 bds much, but 7v7 isnt really that bad of a game usualy. Not every squad, especialy ones who are just being made (alot lately) have 25-30-35 active members on theer squad to always have 8 online to BD, or 5 to do a 5v5 jd. These new squads are trying to build up and show they are competative and active, and sometimes a 4v4 game is what it takes.

I dont agree with having wbduel 4v4 if there are ppl in spec tahts wrong. I also think now with the new bots, if u challenge:5 for dd/jd, or they !challenge:5 then u play 5v5 through all the rounds. If they refuse to play one its there own fault and then play 5v4. Thats what the new bots are for.

I am just against creating this myth that 4 people in J/D or 5 in a B is sufficient. When I started Incuria I would just ask for cap in ?go base and put all the members in I had. Basing with 8 people that are not all your squaddies will help your squad more than playing a worthless 5v5. Nowadays nobody wants to cap anyway, so it can't be that hard getting it done. That way you also bring more attention to your squad, and more people will ask to join.
Now you give people the chance to play in TWD when their squad isn't up yet, but you also create an enviroment where 4v4 is a standard, just because it's easier to field as little people possible. You would just play the best.
I bet that some of those squads would rather field only two players if you'd allow them. Just because putting their two best players, in their view, would stand a better chance. Now people are benched just because they aren't good enough and their squadleaders are given the oppurtunity to bench them.
I seen it enough, squads have 8 people online and they only play 4. You tell them to play 5, and they make up bullshit as: they are afk. While those people just entered or are talking.
Normally I say that it's a 5v5 leagues, and if they have that amount of people they should give a fair reason for us to spec one player. But people get mad at you if they have to justify why they only play 4 out of 8 players. Just because it became standard to play with 4.
