OH yes, my 20 ms and .0 .0 is really laggin, sure the euros on dice lag, but what euros dont? Most of our guys are american and they dont lag all that bad, not nearly as bad as u. Im not gonna get into a lag talking battle with u tho about who lags more then who.

Im not making excuses for it, what im saying is, if its done on purpose (aka cheaitng) then bann them, but if it is some connection problem then dont. Im saying staff has to be knowledged on this topic and not be so quick to ban someone for something that looks like somethign else. Im not saying this to let cheaters get away with it.

I dont know about worst, but its clear that schope shouldnt be talking about ppl lagging Danyaldenyo, Z*E*R*0, and myself back in the day laged pretty hardcore. Me and danny use to get about 500 ping constantly, but thats when laglimits werent alll nazi.

Few same kind of things has happened in ?go base when i've been playing: we were cramming and suddenly from nowhere shark was in middle of cram mining there. Well you can guess the result. Also yesterday our terr was entering base when shark appeared from nowhere and mined in front of him and of course terr died. $$

For one thing, Necro's spiking was from his wireless router, not from lagcheating or whatever you think. You can ask Pure_Luck himself who spent 45 minutes with Necro trying to fix his computer with remote management on the router.

Sorry, but what is the difference between a terrier that disappears in lower and re-appears in flagroom and a terrier that disappears in lower and re-appears in flagroom. Sure Necro might have a sucky wireless connection and the other guy might be a cheater. And sure Necro might have the entire staff backing him up as nog being a cheater, but how is it possible that someone gets to play terrier in a competition like that? Whenever Necro flies into a cram his connection doesn't seem to handle and he goes on invisible mode, it's all cool that he bought the wrong wireless, bu t it's sabotaging the gameplay and it shouldn't be happening in TWD or TWL.

This post is addressed to the people who claimed that, when the other ships flicker or disappear they cannot stop moving, Bullshit. Its one thing if you spike out for a few seconds and chill there, but its another if you take advantage of it and move in for the flag, this will seperate the cheaters from everyone else, I'm sure.

I'l let you guys in on a little secret. You can go completely invincible without dissapearing. While playing in EG, I had gone as far as making an extra button for my kb that opens up a circuit in my network cable to provide me with invulnerability for up to 7 seconds.

Mind you, I stopped using it because it didnt work aswell in TW. Spider's lack of speed is another deterent against using it.
Terrs and rocket compatible ships would benifit from using such a hack. Which brings me to my next point...

This type of cheating can only really be detected/proven by moderators.
Only way to prevent it is to lower ploss s2c ploss limit.
Those found exploiting this weakness in tw should be net-banned.
When using this bug, latency is not affected.

Summary of my investigation:

Opening one circuit will make u invisible, but vulnerable, incapable of inflicting damage. Packets are being recieved, just not sent (c2s)

Opening the other will leave you visible, while rendering you invulnerable, you may kill nmes if u can make proper judgemeant where they actually are.
Packets are being sent, not recieved (s2c)

If you suspect anyone is using this type of cheat. Alert moderators imediately.
