I'm looking for constructive feedback and criticism on what YOU guys think can be improved on the service side of TWD.
What do you think of the current TWD Ops, Beasty, s4j3n, and BH822? Do we need more? less? none?
How about the !signup and !registration systems?
Doublesquadding still a big problem?
Just a few questions that might get the ball rolling, I'd like to hear from anyone though.

I think TWD is awesome- it's fun and it works. I can't think of anything that needs changing right now.

The only area that I do think could use a change is the ladder system and TWL qualifying. Good squads that don't TWD often are occasionally too low and bad squads that "selectively TWD" are occasionally too high.

I have proposed in the past to have the previous season's playoff squads reset to a higher starting rating (1200 or 1400) to better seed the ladder. I don't know if this will work, but in my brain it works perfectly. Whatever the change I think it should be something that works on a longer scale- like reset once and when TWL comes, the ladder shows an accurate picture of the field. Not reset a few weeks or a month before and race to get into TWL.

PS: Was that this Sunday when there was like 4 BD's and ?go base going on at the same time? That was friggin cool.

More TWD Ops would be better IMO. Seen many people having problems with resetting names or whatever and there isn't a TWD Op around to help that person out.

Biggest improvement to TWD would be to make being in the top 5 rewarding. Have the seasons for it set in stone, say 3 or 4 a year landing on month boundaries or something, so TWD Q1 would be January->March, Q2 April->June, Q3 July->September, Q4 October->December.

It kinda sucks that the seasons really only finish when TWL qualification comes around or someone nukes the ladders or whatever.

Having proper set periods for TWL means that squads that aren't in TWL have something to play for other than to relieve boredom. A more competitive TWD can only be a good thing for TWL.

Second thing I can think of is to fix the website by removing all the stuff that didn't get implemented like the TWL ladders in the right column.. Hell, fix the whole site, 141KB to download the entire frontpage is a little excessive. There's other things about the site that should be fixed but I can't go into them on here. Suffice to say, it needs fixing.

and you could add that "on the run" from twl site for top 15 twd ladder squads and the player search from TWLM site

Yes, this would help - something like !wewantBD:7 and then !whowantsBD or something and u will see who and when. its really boring to pm the ladder.

1st constructive tip: have a win by forfeit or default automatically be worth 0 points to EITHER team

2nd: somehow something better needs to be done about people lagcheating in it...
3x in row playing a particular team where someone was obviously lagcheating... ?help and ?cheater calls were done and the various answers were:
no mods online
find a twd op

basically nothing being done

i even asked pure_luck to stay and wach one game and as soon as the game started he just left...

big surprise 2 mins later the guy is spiking his way thru a cram and disappearing all over the flagroom and then showing up magically in front of a terr and killing him...

so maybe more twd ops might be helpful, or at least to try to cover most of the times of the day... whether u have enough to do shifts so that there is someone available for discussion....if help is needed....

a neat command would be a /!nochallenge or something like that so that if you are in a match and dont want more challenges... u can turn it off so these idiots who challenge u like 40x in a row can be ignored easier...

other then that u guys have done great IMO.... and people should be appreciative of the work u guys do....

Staff can find out if someone is lagcheating. And they will either ask player to reconnect/reboot or to sub him (and if neither is happening, then spec him). They have asked me to reboot few times in DD. And also answered to my ?cheater call and made team to sub laggots.

I kinda agree that it takes forever from staff to answer ?help or ?cheater calls nowdays. Geez, there are like 10 mods, 20 ER's and another 20 ZH's and I have to do same call 4 times before I get answer 'we don't know what's wrong'.
