To much ?cheater in TWBD

Is it just me or has there been a lot more ?cheater calls on players/squads in twbd. I dont play jd/dd so havnt noticed much in those divitions. But i have noticed people being speced/forced to reconnect in the middle of a bd. Now i admit if you have 250ms there is somthing wrong with that, but how high is 90ms? Feal free to bitch about laggy squads/players. As for juice, Mr. Bling <ER> is the laggist member of Juice and he is staff....

Well I don't really have any idea of what you're talking about but there are some players that shouldn't be able to play TWBD. Yes, Mr Bling (aka Pure Skill) is one of them.

Yeah it's a pretty biased system imo, anytime we play a euro team like Incuria or Mambo and they have abusive blatant lag, the mods just brush it off like nothing. But the moment Jerome is in for us playing from school, or Bling is in, it's massive mod warfare in the arena, and specs being issued left and right. But it's nothing new, it's just Juice hatred, i was nearly forced to resign the squad last TWD because Weaver, lnx and PL Had 100% evidence I was triple squadding. It's a sad joke of the tw community. :wub:

As a staff member I can tell you that yes, there has been an influx of cheater calls in TWBD. Most of the time it's pure whining like

?cheater OMG so and so didn't die when I shot him he's obviously lagcheating

There's been a big discussion among staff members in regards to lag cheating, so don't assume that because you don't immediately get the action you request that we just brush it all off like it's no big deal.

Necromotic, Stayon, minkmink? Stayon has its fair share of people with an average 500 ms. Necromotic ruines base games and TWBD games. If Mr.Bling can't play, then half the Spastic roster shouldn't be able to.

Oh wait, I forgot, no one does #### about it cause PL is on Spastic and a captain. I wonder if a mod ever specced a Spastic player if PL would axe them from staff.

Apt, it's not as much mods not doing anything as it is mod's saying: Oh, Pred_FNM is on Mambo, can't do #### about "Urgh" spiking through walls. Oh, Zerzera is on Incuria, can't do #### about tahkis taking 8 shots then shooting 3 to kill you.

So, if their lag is out of limits, they still should be able to play? Buy a connection or something.

And Voth, I think I have one of the best pings from Finland: 100ms low, 120ms average and 160-190ms high. Probably must be my .2 .0 ploss.

Oh and Apt, about that last game. You should be happy that there wasn't any ER's or higher position staff online because I did first ?cheater about one of your guys when he changed to jav. And that was after 5 minutes or so. And staff came when game was almost over.

Yeah, but you didnt take into account that the server used to be in Finland, this problem probably used to be vice-versa.

Even on 56k with the server in Finland, I could ping 140ms which isnt very noticable.

The only total laggot who's in Incuria that I can think of right now is leroy. Everybody else is steadily under 200ms even during cramming.

Whine? Sure whatever... He can change to jav, why he couldn't do that? But that still doesn't change the fact that he was lagging beyond limits, maybe lagcheating. If he gets specced in TWD, do you think he can play in TWL with that lag?

Some people are saying "it's just twd". I'd like to point out that what happens in TWD affects who will be around to play in TWL, so disregarding twd as being insignificant is a huge mistake.

Ya there is plenty of laggy people in tw. what im trying to get across is the fact that apt said, specing people in mid game for lag cheating w/e. yesterday we go vs inc in a bd, and spikey...well "spikes" or some shit and dispapears after attaching to his terr while we were defneding fr, some how magicly gets though cram without being shot, and then gets flag and sits on it befor we see him again. wtf is that.....lnx just says nothing he can do becuse hes on a linux clinent and tells apt he dosnt know what hes talking about.... ?cheater and getting staff to watch game and WAIT for an increse in lag on juice is lame as hell.... the second some ones isp has a hicup that player is speced and told to reconnect.


but dose any one else have a problem with players being speced mid game for laging or is it just juice...becuse this is the first ive seen of it
