Hum... no way it should stay a 3 round because in 1 round your team doesn't have the chance to make it back... and if you make games with less points there will always be some teams trying to be conservative with points and chosing the 1 round option in order to save points in the event of losing...

Well in TWL, u can't pick your competition. So one round is more than enough to figure out who should win or not.

I get sick of base after about 10 or 12 minutes, especially when we're easily holding the flag (or the other team is)

Look maybe because you're asian and the way your eyes are shaped you can't read very well but here is some data info you need to read ok so get reading ok don't they have those "stay informed" commercials around where you live? cause they sure spam them on my TV but hey that's just me (ok)

then what about points gaines / 2??? then it wouls require 2 games won to gain the same points, gimme a chance dameon . since the points arent really what matters for me, but the playing... and in my american squad that is active from the hour i go to sleep to the hour i wake up, it would be nice to play a quick round now and then ;D

Although dameon makes a good point, molle does as well , what's the harm of trying it for several weeks? It wouldn't exactly be any deciding factor for TWL, but more as a test to see if it seems to work better than the old system.
