    we could throw a CTF aka capture the flag based game into it... start at each side gotta take the flag. gives it more of a outer-zone EG SWZ type jist to it. would be fun too cus u got defenders camping and more strategy then another boring dueling game will come to hand

    think about it, have we ever tried CTF in a TWD game??? NO we have 3 FUCKING dueling leagues now! make one more fun while jav and wb have3 already settled, we have basing too but a CTF with spiders sohuld be fun.

      twsd is a step in the right direction to adding even more variety to twd.

      Why don't they just have TWFD(Fighter Division)?

      Fighter (Lancaster, Spider, Warbird) Dueling in an arena like they have for spider duel.

      Cause your gonna get other players saying; Why can't we have Lancaster Divisions.. Levi Divisions..etc

      By having TWFD you appease both spider and lancaster players, and also add more variety to this dueling league at the same time. Thus increasing many possible tactics and stratagies.

      Lots of interesting fighter ship combinations are then possible. You could have 2 lancasters, 2 spiders, 1 warbird..for example... or 5 spiders... 5 warbirds..etc

      Since TWSD has been developed, I don't think it would take much time to modify the matchbot to allow this.

        It's fine the way it is er.. most of it anyways.

        I think the spiders should have the same settings as the ones used in twbd because I really hate dieing after 2 bullets. SUCH RANDOM DAMAGE IS HORRIBLE!

                    I like it.

                    I like the race to 50. It means that we now have a duelling division where the overall outcome of the team is more important than the individual outcome of players. If a team likes to have 2 particular spids (who are good at it) distract/be aggressive while another spid (who is good at that) flanks/camps then it would be nice to 'give' the deaths that the flanking/camping spid doesn't need (he's likely to die less) to the distracting/aggressive spids so that the whole team can do their trick longer. This is better than having the flanking spid get raped 1v3 at the end while he's at a useful 8-5 rec or forcing him to change tactics. This is just (perhaps) a bs example but u probably get my point.
                    It also means that a spid that is doing poorly can just back off for a while and let the spids that are doing well do the work. This would actually be the smartest thing to do as it is better to give a spid that is doing well the opportunity to die 12 times and get more kills than be selfish and dying 12 times yourself without actually getting as many kills as the other spid would.
                    Also, 1v1 or 1v2 in spids just sucks imo.

                    I think the map is pretty good too. I just don't like long walls, because I don't like flying far before I can shoot someone. By the time I'll be in a position to shoot who I want to shoot he will have recharged or his buddies will have joined him. On the other hand I do like small obstacles. U can sneak a bullet or 2 inbetween and hit most places on screen fairly quickly. But they're still big enough to provide the necessary cover. U have a good chance to kill at least 1 enemy before dying when you're 1v2 or 1v3 if u use them properly.

                    I think that player recs in a race are meaningful enough. Generally 13-9 helps and 9-13 hurts, although of course the 9-13 might've done some other leet things which u can't measure in the wb/jav system either.

                    Some kind of flag thing could be brainstormed about. Perhaps u could have the team that does not have flag(s) get their total death count increased by 1 after a certain not too short period or time. It'd be like point based basing in the way that u have 2 objectives (and this is the ONLY way) but now killing would be more important than getting flag instead of the other way around. I think that having 2 objectives makes things more interesting while not making it TOO complex.
                    I'd probably go for 3 flags as with 1 flag the game will be too centralized and with 2 flags you'd get 2 sides/camps too much.
                    I'm not sure if this is necessary but perhaps it's worth a try :P. I'm pretty sure it would at least make for a fun hostable event.

                      Some more important stats for TWSD would be damage dealt and damage taken. Streaks would be an interesting stat too.

                        I think a more closed base + capture the flag would really bring twsd into its own.

                        Just change the map a bit, add CTF, and perhaps make it possible to attach to teammates so that flag carriers will likely have to fight a running battle all the way back to their base, and you would have a truly unique and interesting league that should inspire fierce competition.
