TWD Roster Limit? (Just asking, don't trip)

I think for TWL the roster should be as small as possible bc it is a competitive environment ... imho I don't want too many inactives on ANY TWL squad. However, I think it makes some sense to make TWD more accessible to the older and/or inactive ppl.

Well a successful wb/jav jav squad could be run with 5 members. :P

Problem is that with older squads, the old people tend to get a bit inactive. Unlike with newer squads with people all excited about stuff.

Dameon, some people do not have time or want to take the time to check the forums every day. I voted. Happy? :P Limiting the ammount of members allowed on a squad would either create a lot more competitive squads or make the difference between the league squads a bigger gap. By the way, I do not see why a member should be on a squad if they are not going to be able to play in TWL. Why not set a limit on TWD and then the TWL limit will be covered under the same rule. I voted 35.

Geez, I'm not attacking sk8, just using sk8 as an example of a somewhat large squad. Yeah, Militaris is the same right now we have about 41 members.

Well Anzu made an interesting point; Why don't we just change TWL. I assume TWL would never change, that is why I said this.

So far, the poll indicates overwelmly that people don't care much for roster limits.

I just agreed with Dameon that smaller squads would let the talent spread and possibly create more competitive squads.

I see no point in limiting the roster in twd nor in twl. Same goes for assistant limit in twd and some other limits. Isn't it the squad captains' business, not the league operator's? Captains can set their own limits.

We got only 5 ppl on the roster & it is working perfect.-No need to have 21681651 ppl on your roster.

Laugh. Maybe some people just come online once a week and plays a twd game if they like, why should they be ditched in a ffa division. If they dont stay active they wont care about twl either which is a whole different thing.

If you want twd and twl to be the same, why don't we remove the limit from twl? Limiting roster sizes is pretty stupid, if someone likes to be in the squad but wants to play, he's forced to leave his friends and go to squad he doesn't like as much.

Well I think a roster limit of 35 is good, since it will be like TWL, keep things the same.

I agree with this. lets say a squad has a roster of 45 people now its 1 week to TWL and ppl start thinking " hey I might not get to play since 10 of us wont go to twl " I like it better if its 35 then everyone knows that they have a chance to play their squads games. just thinking people might get dissapointed when they get axed just b4 twl.

I think there should be a limit of 40. It would encourage caps to ditch double squadders and clean there rosters more frequently...Ive seen the light regarding large rosters and cut flabby down from 70 it was a while a go to a more manageble 25, but to be realistic about 15 of those 25 play reguarly. (we're recuiting incidently :P )

Another change i would like to see is only one squad change every 24 hours to stop people hopping betweem 4/5 different squads in a day......
