TWD/TWL News Update

This was discussed at the last staff meeting and Pure_Luck has approved the message:

TWL is looking to be starting in January, meaning a reset would be scheduled probably at the end of November. TWSD will not be added to TWL this upcoming season. Also the decision for 4 or 5 spider limit will be decided before the reset in TWD. TWL Ops will talk with captains of squads who are leading to be in TWL to decide it.

Start at end of October

Last year the reset took place around halloween weekend, Oct 31-Nov 1. This allows for 2 months to prepare for qualifications. That's more desirable to me than Resetting at the end of November as you suggested. I understand qualifying teams have to play 20 games or so, and that a one month reset forces a few of them to be more active at qualification time. However, I still believe 2 months would benefit the league more.

i think i saw someone say that the point of the reset is because the ladder is too settled and the new squads can't get up high but that isn't true for the simple fact that the militaris remake squad thing is already as high as they are?

end of november is fucking retarded, everyone has exams in december, christmas break and new year's break, how about u stop being retards and reset it right now or at the end of october. this isnt fucking rocket science

i'm gonna have to agree with end of october... as claus said, december is chock full of shit that just about everyone has to attend to... whereas november all we have is thanksgiving and half the damn players are euro anyways... :P

I would say to start it on November 1st. Let it go until January 1. Then Allow the rest of the weekends in January be Pre-season. Finally, February 4-5 will be the start of the TWL season. Game 10 will be April 9. Allow all replays to happen April 16. Then the Finals would be held May 6-7 (ooo, exams could be a factor there...) You may want to start TWL on January 29 instead of Feb 4, that way the finals would still be in April.
