The problem is, there would be a lot more good terrs if the caps only gave a chance for some guys to practise... There comes a stage when pub is a bit too easy, but you still aren't that known to the public, thus they don't get picked in private basing...

Those are the only six that matter. I might have missed someone thou. I will never see any of you new terr's as one of the best of all times. The game has changed, its become more pick something your good at and work on it none stop.

pub is the best environment to practice terring in. Switch to the weaker freq, you'll have to make up for the lack of spiders and sharks, you'll have to make up for the lack of others sacrifising themselves for the team, you'll have to make up for the lack of willpower of most players to actually get the flag.
Or just get a private freq going, with 3-5 people on it (depending on the basing activity in that pub): one terr, one shark on spid. The satisfaction of winning a flagroom battle with a such a small freq is much greater than any victory you may achieve in "private" basing.

Or say screw um all and go solo. Instead of pretending everything and everyone is out to kill you, it's true! You build the healthy paranoia and full field perception that are critical in real base terring.

although Hannes has the ability to teamkill everythign he sees (miens on attack, Good lord) him and fireballz worked well together

True, except the basing really sucks these days. You can easily take and hold base with a two man team. What really owns is when you get a pub packed with good basers. Preferably on three or four different private freqs. Now that's fun.

Then comes the LTs and ruints it all
