  • New Rule?

Could someone please explain me what is 12 days period to rejoin a squad for, because I don't think there is really a point in it...

There is now a 12 hour delay before you can join a new squad after leaving your previous squad. Using aliases to avoid it counts as doublesquadding and will result a TWD ban.

and 1 more question after that is, can you rejoin 1 squad on different aliases for example: my first alias is Player1 and I'm on a squad Winners, I have a better name and create a SuperPlayer1 and I quit squad on my 1st alias (Player1) and join the same on on SuperPlayer1. Would that be considered as doublesquadding, considering this rule?

    Thank You for further help.

Its a good rule, since it discourages and tries to eliminate ppl who go from squad to squad during gametime (try merce on dice, i>u and pure luck), and its only a matter of 12 HOURS so this really shouldn't be a big factor as long as you're not hopping squads to play all of their TWD matches.

        Cremation :P imagine this.
Player1 is on #7 squad on TWD ladder and he gets invited to a #1 squad (one of the best squads in TW) on TWD ladder and needs to join right at that time. Then, there's a 12 hour period to wait to join...put yourself instead of Player1, how would you react?

I would squadjoin, chat join and talk to whoever they are. If a #1 calibre squad is going to invite u, they are probably doing it for a long-term thing so waiting 12 hours BEFORE U CAN PLAY TWD wouldnt affect me in any way. I would do something else for 12 hours, then start playing tWD :P

er..okay for example...if i left anti-scrub..i'd have to wait 12 hours to join another squad..
If i used a new name that takes 24 hours to register.. ..if you have both names registered.. thats a nice TWD ban.. which is longer than 12 hours.... :P i think your better off waiting

just so i'm clear, is there a penalty for having more than one name registered for twd, but only being joined to a single squad at any give time and with only one of the names?

i.e. i have the names jason and disco jesus registered for twd. currently i'm joined to diso with disco jesus. jason is still registered but not active on any twd roster.

dont see why there should be a problem unless ur rostered on two squads

As a squad captain, I think that this rule is great. My only problem with it is that it should have been implemented a long time ago. There is far too much squadhopping at present and hopefully this will go some way to reducing that.

as shown on the TWD Website :

6.2 In regards to the TWD Roster, a Player may only have One name Registered and One name Rostered. If Players are given a name which is currently Registered/Rostered, they are required to Unregister and remove the name from any TWD Rosters. If any inconsistencies to the above are found, the Player will be barred from participating in any TWD Matches for an extended period of time. TWD Operators may decide on when to lift this suspension.

If you have one name registered but not rostered, and one name registered and rostered, you still have the chance one of your names will be reset by one of us TWD Operators, because you may only have 1 name registered for TWD at the time.
