In my opinion huge guides aren't much use to anyone. Learning by doing is much faster.
How a beginner should start:
Play a round or 2 with bomb and minekeys disabled and then play a round with them. Keep repeating this process. Just make sure you play more games with them disabled than enabled. After you have enough discipline to do the no mines and bombs rounds without removing the keys you can start learning mining and bombing.

Why should you begin like this?
- Because I still see experienced sharks do a lot of damage to their own team.
