off season double squading

Separating the league rosters into three rosters would be a better idea than this one.

This could be an interesting idea, might make the divisions more active since most squads out there are only a single division squad aside from a select few.

A Differnt approach

Hmmm, yes, double squading made legal? I think that's poop.

But about a different twist?

You have two periods in twd, one that just allows people to play.

And a second which you qualify for ladder points for twl.

(this is basically how it is now, where they reset the ladders when they say twl is comming, then they reset it another two times and say twl is comming again.)^-^

During the first offseason time period, modify the bots so caps can add players from their squad to a game, and also anyone else to their lineup. It'd be kinda like ?go base, but hopefully you'd be mostly playing with your squaddies, and maybe a couple others.

This could be good for a few reasons.

1. You can give people try outs in an easy manner without squad joining them.

2. If you need an xtra player or two for a match, boom, unlimited resources.

3. Pubbers can be pulled into games easier to give them a taste of twd and leagues.

4. Staff would waste less time trying to track down double squaders b/c players would be free to play with several different squads

Also, you might say this is just like ?go base, it might be similar, but also very different, b.c the majority of your players will be your squaddies. People complain in ?go base when a squad player only picks their squad mates. For whatever reason they think ?go base should be mixed and let a squad play in twd together. (i don't know much about other things in wb and javs that they have similar to ?go base)

I think it's too much trouble.. in the off season it could be possible as long as everything will reset at the time things get serious again. Yet, it will cause a shitload of problems to straighten shit out after that offseason.. I guess staff would have to come up with some way to track all the double squadders, which will only take alot more of time.. .. and ofcrouse it would be possible for squads to setup another squad full of the aliases and just feed their main rating... o_O could work out kinda lame ^^

Bad idea, just causes more work for staff to do before the start of TWL, and we like it when it starts on time like this season, only season ever probably.

Why not just take the wait period off so that a player doesn't have to wait in the off season. That seems like the only to cut out the headaches. I would cause alot of squad hopping but, once you get close to TWL next year make it 36 hours again

A better idea would be to just have a limit to the amount of people that could be on a squad. More teams I say.. the poor little 28 team ladder just makes me cry.

an approach like this would probably be alright. if you limited roster to say.. 15-20... that wouild force captains to only bring in active people or just be an inactive squad. there would also have to be more squads then... just not sure about the level of play theyd all be at...

maybe itd work... with complaints coming from the inactive people that are pretty good
