Is there any work being done on the stats? The TWD stats sometimes does not work properly, games aren't showing up properly they aren't that reliable. This is a shame because having stats like this is quite important for a competitive league like TWD.

I'd also like to suggest that stats doesn't get reset when you change squads. There's been many players who has been asking to join Diso, players I've noticed and played much against, but since they've left their old squad I suddenly have no stats to go by. Being able to see how active a person has been in the past weeks is quite important. We could have two sets of stats, one is lifetime (atleast since last TWD reset), and the other is for current squad.

Noah, let's tell them for now that they have to join another squad, and prove their activity, especially if it's a 'gamble' player. That, or, 'I need to see your activity on your current squad, I'll give you 5 days.'

I agree, the stat system needs a lot of work. It's very little things, and they're across the board.

I can name a simple one. In the match stats overview, the rpd system is wonky especially if you switch ships, or someone plays shark for 2 lives. It's not really accurate at the moment. I can't figure out why, but when I suspected something was wrong I looked into it... and most people that play shark for maybe 5 seconds for example, and have 2 deaths, have almost never had 7 reps (bringing it to 3.5). I used this with a couple of matches I was viewing on Thunder and Diso.

Not a huge deal, but you get the point. There's a lot of tiny errors that all accumulate to people whining about it, it's not just one or two large errors.

I do agree, it would not be that hard to implement a "lifetime" stat for a player. We just need times to do it.

Can you point out what are these errors? I'm not a magician you know? Creature told us about a problem with recent games, 4 hours later it was fixed. Fixing a problem on the website does not require a lot of time, but sometimes, it requires to fix the code on the bot itself. For the RPD, the website shows the information correctly so it must be the bot. Go to TWCore.org and open a ticket, that's the best way to fix a bug (if bot-related).

Okkkk.. I put my hands in the code and I have to say, it was a mess. I was going to add the lifetime option but I found too many bugs. I updated this page.

First of all, stats now compute only matches that are fully played (not cancelled, etc..). Also, there was a bug which showed only the first ship used for a game (ex. if you !change your ship during a game, the second ship won't be computed on the webpage). Really bad for BD stats.

I'm done for tonight but with the new system, we will be able to show a lot more information on this page like RPD, FC, time played, etc..

Edit: The lifetime option won't be possible because the way I fixed these bugs requires a fattier query for the database and I will just kill the server If I request each games since 2003 for a specific player. Too bad!

Is it possible to add a feature where caps (at least) could see who "got the game" for their team. Just a small "challenged by mantra" and "accepted by ignite" or something similar to that. Other team dont have to be mentioned if it makes it harder.
Not who added who or so but who took time to challenge or accept a challenge in order to get a game. Im not sure how useful it would be for everyone but at least I would appreciate to find out how much work my assistants really do

You are right, a mini bug it's fixed now.
