the biggest reason why a lot of good ppl stack on a few squad is because most of us who used to play a lot and decent before aren't putting much effort in.. we rather go on and chat.. and play a twd here and there.. we have no intention to play TWL at all.. i can tell you half of thunder's roster are prob like that.. thus.. even if you cut squad cap to 25.. doesnt mean you will have more competition.. just means many will just decide to retire for good and never log on again
I'm contemplating my respone still. This would be no small change at 25members. There could be alot of Cause & Effects in doing this that you might not see. Geting the Server/bots stable again is more important to all of us at the moment, But I am paying attention to your posts.
Do you guys realize how many squads die during twl or are unable to show a decent lineup to every game? Only the same 3-5 squads every year are able to. And that's with the twl roster cap. The other 15 squads in twld, twlj, and twlb either die or lose games because people don't show. You think setting a TWD cap would help this? Even rapid which had close to 60 members in TWD had a hard time showing a decent line to EVERY single game, from day one. People stayed on rapid even when they weren't on the twl roster because they either had no interest in twl, or liked the players on the squad and wanted to socialize, or they were inactive and logged on once a month (orgazmo, jebu, asians, I mean hell, rapid still has 32 players on it's TWD roster. Do a ?find advent cloud, asians, avatar, baron munchausen, etc and chances are you would see "Last login: 10 days or more.") Some of the people I'm listing were even on our twl roster. This says either a) they only log on to play twl therefore a twd roster cap would do absolutely nothing or b) they're just inactive or on a different name and setting a twd roster cap would still do nothing. Setting a twd roster cap would kill activity. People that log on once a week or less would just never log on. It wouldn't promote any sense of competition because the same people would end up on the same squads when twl comes around. If they had any interest in playing twl and leading a mid level squad to victory they would leave dice, thunder, mad, epidemic and do so.
tl;dr TWD roster cap is an AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL idea. Don't do it.

Still in support of a 25 limit roster for both twd and twl, regardless of how many leagues you want to compete in. All that whining about not being able to compete for the title in all 3 leagues because you can't have 25 3-league players is a bunch of bullcrap. Even if it would be impossible to get your retarded 1 leaguers competitive in all leagues, everybody would have the same problem and you'd still have as much a chance at winning it all.
Yea I agree with this. And even if some of them found new squad, they propably stay as inactives and got axed later cause small roster cant have that many inactives. IMO you just cant build anything on inactive players.
No limit in TWD: Inactive players can stay in roster and play once in a while. No positive or negative effects.
Limit in TWD: Inactive players gets axed and stops playing. No positive effects but negative effects with people quitting.
Lets face it, TW has been running the same for several years. As a result more players are leaving TW, or going inactive, on the regular. I agree with the roster limit. However, I think that the TWL roster limit should be 35, along with the TWD limit set to 35. Having a 25 man roster limit is just way to low of a number. Squads can still operate fairly well with 35 members, even if a good amount of them are not entirely active. In my opinion the only people that are likely to quit the game, after a rule like this would go into effect, are the players that were not actively playing TW in the first place. I think that the thing killing this game more than anything else is the fact that you have to play the same dam squads over and over again, because roster sizes are stacked twice as much as they need to be. There is nothing worse than playing the same 5 dam squads day in and day out. So I I really don't see making TWD roster caps having any real negative effect on the game. It WILL, without question, present several new squads to spice up TWD and make things more interesting again. If a change like this is not made people are going to continue to quit the game any way. What is there to lose?

3 league squads need like 17 ppl on their roster and that still gives room for friends... too many people are only good at one league. then again, my squad is only 1 league for now so what does it matter what i say
This is true if all of those 17 people were capable of starting in 3 leagues which is pretty near impossible. Sure I could knock our roster down to 20'ish and compete in 3 leagues but would we have a shot at winning all 3? No way in hell would we have the chance to triple crown like we do with a roster of 35. We'd have javs playing wbs when the wbs dont show and vice versa. So pointless to even think of reducing the twl roster for a 3 league squad and forcing them to cut people who are actually useful.
