TWSD - Trench Wars Spider Division

Why not have a Spider Division? Keep the rules the same as regular DD, but have spiders.

i want a spider league too, it is used alot in base and there are alot of people that like the ship i think a spider league would be great but some f*ckups dont like the ship but guess wat not everyone likes Warbird either and there is a league for that ship ..

I agree it'd be differnt and fun, and u could use it in TWD to test it out. maybe make it 3v3 or 4v4 max, 5v5 all spiders is sorta hellish w/ strays and all. It'd also give basing squads another league to probably do ver well in and then they can say they are multi-league'd and like HLK said, there is a TWLD (warbird) league and many ppl hate wb, and a jav league and many hate javs, and same w/ basing, im sure u'd get a very big crowd of ppl who'd atleast try it out, if it failed then give up on it. As for SVS, svs sux and is realy nothing like a Spider.

The spider is a basing ship in my opinion and thus these sort of duels should be kept in a base. I made a map ( ?go spiderdm ) as an example (it's not at all perfected) of how such a map could look like.

5vs5 spiders in open space would just be another type of dding, 5vs5 spiders in base however would be a mix of all the three existing leagues, thus something new.

The only problem with spiderdd is chasing. you get down to 1 v 1 and whoever has more lives can very very easily run out the clock.

It would most likely be a pain in the ass to code, but you could have the bot shrink the arena in such a situation. You can't run if there isn't room to.

not really, when a bot removes a person @ 10 deaths, it jus checks to see if theres only 1 person remaining on that team and then closes the doors to remove a part of the map and make it smaller and then warps everyone.

i dont like the idea of a spider league/division but jus sayin i doubt it'd be hard.

i think poeple would lose interest in it quickly or only a few squads that take any interest (mostly basing squads i'd guess)

Twwd would be leet. We'd just need a small base map and maybe it set to strobe cloak where every 7 seconds the cloak flashes automatically.
