Probably unique IPs. There aren't a whole lot of aliases in go base.

It'd be interesting to check out the winning %'s. I looked at the spid players ... and I don't think anyone is over 60% winning %. That says a lot about how much teamwork goes into basing rather than solo performances. However, other ship %'s are prob a bit more radical.

It doesn't look like there are too many aliases. It's too hard for new names to get picked unless it's someone permanantly switching names. Plus you'd have to play enough games for both to show up on the list.

Pretty much everyone is about 50% give or take +/- 5%.

It's interesting to note (as sufficient graced on) that most of the winning percantages are about 50/50.

So basically, you have approxamately a 50/50 chance of winning your base game.

Someone (Nockm) suggested the idea that Matchbot should have a little addon, where it would calculate the winning percentage of the players selected on the two teams, and it would give a guess as to the winner of the game.

Not exactly true. That most players are near 50% win ratio means that teamwork is the most important factor. But the small difference - slightly above or slightly below average - indicates the edge that this player gives on the team he's playing for.
