TWDT main season is done and dusted, time for playoffs
We are finally done with TWDT playoffs and top 6 teams have qualified. Last weekend brought some major surprises, some caps opting for alternative lineups and some key people also missing.
1) PRIME - Rackas team went on taking the 2 wb wins as expected, but also surprised by beating Monster in jav, while being 4vps down once again showing that VPs are one thing, but actual teamplay and collaboration is another. Also getting comfortable win vs pwned in base, they pulled ahead and won the main season with 25 points. Congrats!
2) TERRORIST - DW also had a nice weekend, winning both jav and base games, including one that ended Powers streak, while despite Havok and Banzi shining, getting those losses in wb. Looking ahead, terrorist is real contender in both jav and base and in my opinion only team that can potentially win in multiple leagues.
3) PWNED.nl - Bikes team continued their steady performances, getting a win in both jav and wb, while missing mikkiz made their experimental lines struggle in base. They definitely have potential to make it to playoffs in all 3 leagues, but i feel like their run will stop then.
4) POWER - zidanes crew had actually pretty lousy weekend getting only single win against force in jav, while missing willby seemed to have really hurt their base game, losing both of base games. Still their playoff spot was pretty much guaranteed and they are still nr.1 favorites in base, but not likely to play important role in wb or jav.
5) FORCE - not sure why standings place Force about Dice, but does not matter. Nervous weekend started again with 2 losses in jav, making forces jav lineup by far the weakest of any teams in any leagues getting only 1 win entire season. On other hand they had solid base wins, and a bit of nervous moments in last wb game vs terrorist, but myths decisiveness also brought them win there, securing 20 points and playoff spot. Force will be looking forward fighting for that semi final spot in wb, why not even finals, while definitely going to be hard opponent also in base. In jav though, i feel like it could be most one-sided quarters action, as pwned is most likely going to choose them as opponents.
6) DICE - Dice i feel like got somewhat lucky. They didnt have an easy schedule, but got a win in each league, especially the one vs power, being something that noone would have guessed. But power just lost their first game of season, had guaranteed top spot, so i can see why their mind was not really in that game. Winning wb game vs terrorist with 38.5! vps in game, must be a record as well. Guess terrorist were sort of having fun at that time as well, securing key positions in leagues that matter for them. Still dice continues to be one of the favourites in jav and definitely has hopes of finals there.

7) MONSTER - Monster seemed to have everything ready for weekend with good showup and people there. Surprise loss to Prime in jav, while having their best lineup in, was first warning sign. They got their free win in base vs pure luck with low star issues (as far as i understood, if playoff spot would have been in line for PL, this game would have been replayed), then got demolished by Terrorist in base, just to get destroyed by Prime in wb and then losing to already eliminated pure luck in last wb game. Feel like the superstar team never clicked for Monster. They were suppose to walk over jav like Prime did in wb and Power in base, but instead only managed to get 8 win in jav, somewhat compensated by some good wb games. But it was not to be this time.
8) PURE LUCK - Tinys team took last spot in league after round 1 and pretty much stayed there for entire league. All the trading and switching focus from wb to jav eventually made a pretty strong jav team, but base never really got going. Despite that, in a very surprising way, PL still showed for last weekend and had i think their best weekend with 4 wins and potentially 5 with that forfeited game against Monster in base. So admirable result, but this league was really lost week before 3 point gap was almost impossible to gain back, as too many other circumstances had to happen for that, like dice/force/monster all failing beyond usual level.
QUARTERFINALS:
JAV - Dice and terrorist clinched top 2 positions in jav with 9 wins each. Looking at data, Terrorist is having nr 1 position as they were ahead in rankings while also having upper hand in games between each other).
As pure luck and monster were eliminated with 8, pwned, also at 8 gets to choose their opponent and im pretty sure it will be force with single win for entire main season, making Prime facing Power in second game. I fully expect pwned to make it to semis, but prime/power semis will be difficult to guess. Both teams have 1 win each in games between them.
Predicted quarters:
Pwned vs force - 2-0
Prime vs power - 2-1
BASE - Power takes nr 1 spot in base, while terrorist nr 2, both securing bye-week. Next in line is force, it would make sense to pick Prime, who has only 5 wins in main season, but Rackas team has had some decent results in later phase including win against Force, while they have had 2 very clear wins against pwned.nl. So i am guessing siaxis may opt for choosing pwned as opponent, putting Prime against Dice. Dice hasnt really been in good shape in base lately, so i think Prime may have upper hand in that duel.
Predicted quarters:
Force vs Pwned - 2-0
Prime vs Dice - 2-1
WB - Prime and Force get bye week and as monster is eliminated, pwned will get to choose opponent. Terrorist and Power both look like decent options, but as Terrorist has had emergence of Banzi/Havok in recent weeks, Power seem to be safer option. Terrorist will take on Dice, who will hope for okyo to make appearance in quarterfinals.

Dice vs Terrorist 2-1
Some questions still remain to be answered.
With no clear jav favorites, who will take the throne? Terrorist has been in good shape, but did lose to Dice recently. Dice on other hand has lost to power, even with okyo in. Or some other team pulls a surprise?
If force makes it to finals, will beam show up? Yes he is still on their roster. Can he make a difference and ruin what looks to be a solid win for Prime.
And finally, is power also beatable in playoffs in base?
