Maybe if you knew a little jist of what was going on in Synd, you wouldn't assume that. There is a good chance 2dragons won't be able to play during TWL or will be very inactive from what he told me. Rough is a pretty good terr don't get me wrong, but thats the thing.. he's "pretty good", but he doesn't practice very often, I don't see him improving in terr a whole lot before TWL. Who's this third terr you're talking about?

Hrm? Didn't he only terr like 3 games for Ramp last season? Against War Angels, Disoblige, and Elusive. Lost vs both Diso and Elu, and beat War Angels. I mean he did pretty good, had some good games and some bad ones, but that brings back what I said in my previous post. You can say the same thing about me and Burnt as I did to Rough, were pretty good but we would rarely practice therefore not developing much for TWL. When it comes down to having to go against a terr like warportal or something, more then likely you'll get outplayed with just a pretty good or above average terr. I'd rather put in a terr who practices daily, and has that as his main ship who will keep improving come TWL.

I didn't recruit Jard thinking, "oh this guy is definitely a top 5 terr". I recruited him thinking he has the talent already, and the potential to get a lot better in a short amount of time considering he practices frequently and actually cares. I'd rather have a active, solid terr who will show up to basically every game, then a good terr who never practices, doesn't care as much for basing and unsure of showing up to games. It's worth a shot atleast to see how things work out.

I can surely look at other squads rosters and critisize just as easily, but the fact remains that im sure you wouldn't care what I think about your roster or who you recruit, just as you shouldn't care who we recruit.

The point I was getting at is that I would put Burnt, even if out of practice, in terr over Jard given the choice. But that's just my personal opinion. Like you said, it's your squad, so run it as you please.

I think some people are just in shock that a newbie is on syndicate. Jard is new no doubt about it and he is on a squad with mostly vets/close to vets. No offense to jard, but he isnt THAT great a terr. But he does also play every day and is a basing nerd (person that spends his/her whole ss time in .?go base). Basing nerds are usually only good at basing, to which they are good because they play it non-stop for hours. Jard, along with for example: almost all of rejected basers, is a basing nerd and they tend to get good very quick. Think of megaman89 - he played for what 5 weeks, got on war angels in twl, then got accepted into spastic after that. Its similar to playing jav or wb for a few months and getting on shriek or -f-. Granted mastering the jav is much much harder and mastering the wb is harder than spidering or terring, but you see my point. Practice a lot and u shorten the time. Basing nerds get good quick, but its a waste for vet squads that are good in 3 leagues cuz he is useless in everything but base. Jard will be a terr for synd. That is it. He may get mad cum leagues when he is riding the bench all season and playoffs long cept for that 30 min base game each week. Just my thoughts. gl wit him tho

yes, jard is a decent terr. i won't mind putting him in terr in ?go base.. but however, i don't see anyone can improve if he/she just keep on blaming everyone else when s/he dies.

And maybe this is a coincidence, but i haven't seen jard play one decent game in terr after he joined syndicate. and his attitudes are even worse than before.

Why is everyone hating on someone who is trying to enter the world of the elites? I mean there's probably 15-20 just jealous threads posted by people who are about as good as Goddess unless she's at the all you can eat buffet. If he chokes he chokes, if not then Syndicate for TWLB champs.
