With all due respect rand, u usualy make good arguements even if its against something i believe in. But having melee and diso in the same boat in any league is obsurd. Not to mention Melee lost almost EVERY dueler they had. Diso mite of lost a few javers but i dont think they lost many key WB with the exception of Mikena. Like sleepy pointed out. Even if they had to requalify they would make it over them squads he listed. I think even now they are TWL playoff bound in all 3 leagues. Maybe a dropoff in jav from champs but i think they are definatly good enuff to make playoffs. And like Crvn said, Diso plays anyone, any time, no matter who is on. They arent in the same boat as us rand, they play knowing it dont matter if they lose. I think there top 5 in LD/LJ will perform very well. And if WP gets unrusty they'll do well in LB to. I dont know where ur coming from on this one.

well i think it should be 14 squads. these squads are closer each other than 14 dueling squads there is only few who can win.

even if they werent 50% id give theem the spot, this rule is to prevent like 3 people of keeping the name and totally change the squad and still get in twl.

we all know diso keeps its core and it will always be the same squad, not another one pretending to be diso, so wtf is uor problem? plus they would beat uor own squad in any league cept for wbs. so they are clearly top 10 material let alone top 16.

they seriously have like 10 solid wbs and 6/7 solid javs. they are clearly twl caliber. quit uor whining and get through qualification with uor own team.

if a team was in playoffs and had 30 people. 15 of the people would have to return + NEW PEOPLE in order to be considered for twl. NOT 50 percent of total roster.

I think u can make a clear case that 15 of those squads could and proly are TWL caliber team, but so has it 2 conferences means u need equal # of squads (14/16). U cant really say that BasingCrew is active enuff for TWL or they'd be in qualifying rite now, and u cant saay that PUMA is worthy bc they refuse to fight anyone half decent. That leaves u with 15. So 1 squad gets shafted Not to mention Egyptian i havent seen base i doubt th ey are any good, Avalonian refuses to play anyhone good like PUMA but atleast they are active and respectable. and Ancients again are to inactive for being able to show 8 up each week. Nto to mention they arent all that good either. I'd rather see Paladen in TWLB then Puma, anc, avalonian,egypt, BC simply bc u know they'll show 8 up each week and be just about as competative as these guys will be. I think u make a fight for 15 max jeb

well like i said 14 squads is good for twlb too. didnt mean all those squads should get in. but more than 9.

9 is only the amount that have to requalify. U have the other 5 who are already qualified. All 5 of which were on ur list

On another thing i just seen on ur list, i dont know if i'd exactly say SHriek is TWLB worthy either. Of course if they set there heart to it they'd get in bc they have some nie basers, but they lack a serious terr atleast to my knowledge. Today i did see annul spaming pubs to let a2m a msg to apply for basing spots on shriek. Could be a joke could not who knows or cares I think it mite be a little to late for them to make TWLB anyway.

I'd just like to reiterate that Ancients has some serious problems, whatever they are. Their current jd rating is below 900 (881), they've lost 14 of their last 15 jav matches, and they're ranked 52nd out of 56 squads on the jd ladder. That's absurd for an invited squad.

Someone said maybe they just don't care about it since they're autoqualified.. but it seems pretty hard to simply not care that much. The same thing seemed silly at the beginning of last season, with the likes of British Squad, No Surrender, and Paladen, IIRC (maybe a couple more I don't remember). All invited, all began way down on the ladders before TWL began, and of course, all ended up being utter jokes in TWL. I've always liked the idea of autoqualification.. but when some squads make a mockery of it like this, it makes me wonder if perhaps there should be some additional guidelines / provisions that allow TWL ops to decide some extreme things on a more case-by-case basis.

For example, an autoqualified squad must have a minimum 1000 rating with a minimum number of games played in their invited ladder(s) (say 10, 20..), and/or perhaps be in the top 50% of squads in that ladder(s) by the cutoff for league time. Something like that - not talking anything strict, simply something fairly easy to accomplish, and entirely reasonable to expect of an invited squad.

Good point Ad. Im with ya on that one, all squads who are auto-qualify should have to maintain atleast 1000 points where they start off at reset. I think it could be even higher. maybe 1100 bc thats a matter of 10 wins and u can stay that #. ANcients are WAY WAY to low for a team in TWL. Like Ad said, even if they arent caring i think that not caring gives u more wins then that. DOnt get me wrong they got some nice pilots in jav yet and a hefty 1st line, but they are just to inactive for my likings and not very impressive as of now. Maybe the OPS should look into these types of things for the next season that all playoff squads maintain so high of a rating or they lose there invite.

Maybe we _really_ didn't bothered to spare our time to javs since we r in twlJ already...

We decided that its more important to play DD with "attitude" (if u know what i mean) and leave javs to play "just for fun".

Since i have allways hated this STUPID twd ladder system (doesn't have anything to do with skill, any of "newb" squads can be in top #10 at any ladder just by playing thousands of easy games) we didn't want to "bother" for jd...

I don't even know why i came to explain anything to u ppl but... nm
