ok wow holy shit you basing clownz? How is that all of the 27 people in tw that care about basing are on these forums and invade every prediction topic ever made? I just skimmed through 5 pages of "lunch3" talking. Anyways, here's some druknen predictions for TWLD...

Grapevine - monster lineup, the most underrated dominant squad out there..anyone agree? They destroyed syndicate yesterday in a dd...murdered. But i got this sense that people still underrate them. They're my pick to win twld.

Pallies - one thing about pallies, how is their depth? After Mattey n Blood, theres hellzno, sleepy weasel, swimkid etc..but thats a huge dropoff after mattey n blood. You know what they remind me of? The Lakers from last year. Kobe & Shaq - mattey & blood.. and then a bunch of solid contributors like Rick Fox/Derek Fisher, that can have great games but ain't no kobe or shaq.

Shriek - mad rushers. I don't know what to say about them... imo, they got the best team rushing outta pretty much anybody..they can beat any squad on any given day and probably have the best shot along with syndicate to win both ld and lj

Dragonguard - i take that back, dg is the most underrated squad in leagues right now. Mega Newbie, thats all i gotta say... The Brazilian Beast. Lomoro is unstoppable. He can singlehandedly win games vs top squads and already has, 23-8 vs fire?? Newbie is a monster..bottom line, i guarantee you if he plays most of the games that he'll get regular season mvp or have most kills or both... he is a machine. He squad hops tho, so it depends on if he stays with them or not. Even before dg got him, they beat pretty much all the top squads out there..but not on a consistent basis, and now with him, they are a true force.

Fire - EDIT - yea they're dead. ...a couple of ex-fire guys going to certain teams that are already elite could make that squad almost unbeatable...

Syndicate - why are they losing so much? I know it's just twd, but still? It's like they dont have that killer aura around them that elusive had last year. Losses to Rapid, dragonguard, murdered by grapevine & buja x yesterday, a bunch others... I think they just dont care, burnt's played in 1 round this reset..he was their #1 stunna last season. They know they'll make twl, and make the playoffs and probably win it all so right now these losses dont seem like a big deal. But still, becuz they've lost some suprising games, they're kinda not as feared as much anymore.. squads know that they can beat em cuz "we beat u in twdd remember".

-FINAL- still got a monster lineup. Dont know what else to say... another squad with a good shot at both LD and LJ

Rapid - some huge wins in dd, syndicate, shriek, grapevine, dg etc. They're gonna pull a few big upsets no doubt, and have a good chance of making the playoffs but the question is, can they beat these top squads on a consistent basis... maybe not yet. Squad i'm on..

Sk8 - lost mega newbie, but got With Ease... I dunno what to say about them. If they still had mega, they would be a force... but even w/o him, they can beat pretty much anyone but probably not consistently. I think they'll make playoffs and get ousted early.

egyptian - i dunno..
ancients - whats up with this squad? they're losing alotta games, they're not as good as they were last year
I dont know what to say about other squads that might make twl like british, avalonian, puma etc...

Disoblige - iI just added them last cuz i forgot about em.. my class is almost over so i cant type no more. i dunno much about them.. been around forever, most of em are loyal, they always do good every season. Make playoffs again. dont have download.

iight thats it... overall, i think there's gonna be more suprising upsets this season - alot of them. Last year.. Rampage and Elusive were on another level compared to the rest of the league (at least in the regular season)... it's not like that this year, its the total opposite. Instead of just 2, theres a handful of squads at that level so this season will be maaaaad competitive! maybe the most competitive ever?

TanKeD is #70 in dd right now, but with a good lineup we can beat DragonGuard. seriously
But we rarely have the good lineup online, since most of us(like 97%) are just javers or basers

Pallies has more depth than you think, and with arguably the 2 best warbirds in the game (How can you argue against Mattey (1-5 in elim and #1 in TWEL) and Blood as the best 1-2 punch) it won't matter who else plays because they will be capable of at least 7 kills and mattey and blood are both capable of getting 20 each. You know it's true.

BASING BASING BASING! There's no hate to the duelers, it's just everyone knows the excitement lies within basing this season. Sure you got a couple close matchups between Syndicate, Fire, Pallies, Shriek and Grapevine... but in the basing league, almost every game is ANYONE'S game. Spastic are no longer the liquidators and pallies and diso are no longer THE basing teams.

1. Syndicate: I dont see how anyone could not think of them as the #1 line. Screw Mattey and Blood, without 3 more in there and 1 or 2 for subs, demonfaze and his squad will beat them with depth.
2. -Final-: I haven't really watched too many of their DD's but with a lineup with destroy, disq, domi, sika, download, etc... i think they'll win the race for second place.
3. Pallies: As much as i think they're complete retards, Mattey and Blood can carry their squad past most teams with whatever other 3 they put in.
4. Shriek: I dont think they'll dissolve this time, a2m will likely see to it that they stick around. They should show an impressive line each week and with some depth, they will make top 5 fairly easy.
5. Pirates: I think we can take most squads when we dont put pure javs in a dd, but maybe i'm a little biased. I didn't know where to put us without people whining about us being too high or not showing faith in my squad by putting them too low on the list so i'm just trying to be honest, but time will tell anyways.
6. Sk8: Impressive lineup, and seem to have some nice euro lag with it. A respectable squad which should go further than last year
7. Disoblige: Always a contender and i think they can beat any of the below squads easily but not enough WB depth with Mikena and download gone.
8. Grapevine: Randedl and Weaver have both went downhill in WB in my honest opinion
9. Fire: Good names but dont seem to be playing much. If vihta and Ripper can get back to where they were last season, they should be able to get by even with Ruby playing alongside them :P (jk Ruby)
10. Egyptian: seemed pretty decent from what i've seen of them
11. Ancients: i think DEA, Sweeper, Utopia and a few others will show and and win when it matters

I didn't mention squads like Dragonguard or Avaloniawhatever, British Squad, Tanked or Rapid because i think all of them are overrated.

1. Pallies Is anybody actually surprised I have us winning?

2. Grapevine Randedl, Weaver, Tyson, Stuckup (if he stays) is a really solid lineup. I see Rand and Weaver doing most of the carrying with Tyson and Stuckup being more streaky. Expect Tyson to start off a little slow, but to hit his stride quickly and more than carry his weight.

3. Syndicate They're no Elusive. They're a shell of their former selves. Still, everyone on this squad is at least adequate in warbird, and with Demonfaze and Escalate these guys are contenders.

4. Shriek A poor imitation of Value. Good teamwork beats these suckers, but most squads don't have good teamwork, so they will ride to playoff's on the backs of bad squads.

5. -Final- Domi, Download and Sika will shoulder most of the weight on their line. They'll have to carry the washed-up members of their squad (Destroy), but that shouldn't be too hard for them. If Sika and Domi aren't specced for their ludicrous lag -Final- will round out the top 5.

6. Dragonguard Will fly under the radar to secure their playoff spot. They deserve their due, they showed potential last TWL and I think they will realize it this season. Look for Bike, Mega Newbie and Janitor to be stand-outs. Overall, a solid team that is only improving.

7. Sk8 Seems like this squad is always underrated for some reason. Reaver and Mikena will get them to the playoff's with the supporting cast doing what they always do.

8. Disoblige Lag2win. Diso has some scary warbirds (read: modems), if they can get around the laglimits they'll barely make playoff's.

9. Egyptian I think of Egyptians as a lot like Dragonguard, just a few notches down (Dragonguard:Egyptian :: Palliesisoblige). They're another squad nobody will watch out for and will surprise some chump squadrons (not Pallies though, I've got my third eye on you bitches).

10. Rapid Not quite as good as their TWDD record, but they'll do relatively well in leagues. Haven't really noticed any outstanding player other than Cranium.

11. Ancients I hate these motherfuckers, but they're not horrible.

12. Pirates These guys haven't come together quite yet. They'll be a force if they stay together until next TWL.


The rest of the spots don't really matter, they could be filled by anyone from Avalonian to British Squad (all the way from A to B). I didn't mention Fire because I don't think they'll make it to TWLs.
