ofcourse all real double squadders will do this, this is why the !register thingy is stupid it is only very anoying for people wich really have a brother that plays on the same connection like me, it can also be possible you have only 1 computer and both play on it, in that case you wouldnt even ave to be both online and can just say this.
>Hey 2d me and my brother "name" use the same computer and are on different squads could you allow us both to !register please?
>liar! ?
/SumpsonOnly the loyal count.

that's what double squadders are, but they will always be here, this is no solution at all, its just anoying to the non double squadders but players on the same connection.Only the loyal count.

sure double squadders can get around it by pretending they have a sibling, but it makes it much more difficult. for one thing, they then have to invent an imaginary SS playing sibling, and pretend like they are two different people. this is doable, but its hard work, atleast if you are going to be convincing about it. people will be very suspicious of "siblings" that are at or around the exact same skill level and play similarly. so no, it doesnt prevent double squadding, it just discourages it by making it alot more work.
without the register thing, there is no need for a double squadder to invent a 2nd personality or alter his playing style or skill level to avoid suspicion. he is playing two totally unrelated names who people would have a difficult time ever connecting to eachother. its just alot easier. There exists a fine line between hard partying and destitution.

It really sucks that they even have to make a system to prevent people from playing on 2 different squads. It would be nice if people could take it a bit more seriously and not fuck up the league by playing for 2 teams.
I don't know why anyone would want to doublesquad anyway. You would think that it would be more fun to play on a single team and help them win a league instead of dicking around on a few different squads.
It would be kinda nice if this system would at least somehow keep people from playing on other peoples names, but that wouldn't really work unless they matched MacID to UserID when you !register. That would probably work well, but you would really have to warn people beforehand that whatever computer they register their name on, they will have to use that in all TWL games.sdg
