I also agree with demonfaze, Western Conference looks like it could be a serious whoopin on Eastern. Maybe a minor squad-swap can be considered? Either way though, no biggie. It's going to be a lot of fun either way!

nah, that'd be just one more thing to boost their ego... especially if pallies happened to make it to the finals this year... we'd never hear the end of it next season.

as for the conferences, i love the TWLD conference... not as happy about the TWLJ conferences but still pretty decent.

I gotta disagree with the TWLD conferences, you put 3 of the top 4 teams in the same conference.

EDIT: Not only that, you put 2 of the top Mid-level squads (Sk8 and Egyptian) in that conference as well, which are both playoff material squads. Now you got 5 playoff worthy squads (3 of them being top 4 squads) in one conference and only 3 in the other. I just think it would be better if it was switched around a little, whatever works.

I TOTALLY agree with that statement. East Conference is way ezier than West. With the West Conference you take out one Play Off worthy squad already, while it's replaced by an "easy" squad coming out of the East Conference.
Most likely West top 3 = Syndicate, -Final- and GrapeVine. So the 4th place battle will probably be between Egyptian and Sk8, which both should be in the Play Offs I'd say.
The only really good squads in East would be Pallies and Shriek. It would be more fair if you would swap a little, like demonfaze said above.

I think the point of the preseason is to make sure stuff like the website and bots are working correctly though. So we gotta make sure they are up.

well, another point of preseason is to train the <ER>s how to host twl matches i believe.... not that it's difficult, but it's just a little extra training.

that said, i think it's an error to put shriek in the conference with 2, as well as the better 2nd tier squads in the same conference as the 3 good ones.

Oh man, Rapid/Diso/Avalonian/Pirates are the 4 best second tier squads. That's probably why they were put in the division with only 2 really strong squads.

Agreed especially since Shriek has a history of disbanding.

What about naming the conferences after the final squads from last year's championships. TWLB for example would be Disoblige Conference and Spastic Conference. A little more interesting than East/West, and a feather in your cap if you make it to the finals.

How will TWLB work? An extra crossover conference game?

I was wondering something like this also. What's the schedule going to be like? Are there going to be ten weeks like last year with a couple cross-conference games? Or do the squads only play their conferences (and in the case of TWLB, play one squad twice or have an extra cross game).
