Post your pre-twl opinions on how things really are here.

Underrated: Dueling squads’ basing. Final, shriek, and syndicate are going to surprise a lot of teams this twl. People usually ride off the dueling squads as easy wins, but they couldn’t be more mistaken.

Overrated: Disoblige and whiterabbits. People have pretty much caught up to disoblige basing-wise I think. Plus a lot of their members go inactive between twl’s, and basing has changed. Mistakes that used to not matter because everyone made them are now magnified. You can’t just go inactive for that long and still expect to be on top.

Underrated: Rejected Basers. Although they are all really annoying, they are going to beat some big teams this twl. Some people think that they will choke or something cause it is their first twl.. that is bull shit, basing is pretty hard to choke in.

Overrated: Pallies. They say they are gonna win everything, and people believe them because pallies are cool. They aren’t a bad team, but they aren’t as good as everyone seems to think. Not only that, but also half the time much of their starting line doesn’t show and they end up having to play people who were recruited because of friendship and aren’t any good.

Those are just my opinions. Rather than flaming me for them here, just post who you think is over/underrated, and prove me wrong in game when twl comes.

I'd agree that the dueling squads are gonna suprise some ppl alot this season. I mean i dont know if they'll win the league but they'll make some close games and big upsets i think. I'd also agree with u that ppl caught up to diso in basing. Like u said, there core ppl go more and more inactive then appear rite b4 TWL comes. WP still isnt in shape, they dont have an active pair of sharks who play togther alot, and w/o Nockm tey dont have that top of line jav who always saved them. Dont get me wrong, they'll do well in leagues and always have a chance to compete fo rthe title, but they are definatly weaker this season in basing then the past, and alot of squads caught up to them, and maybe even passed them. I hope they do win it tho, i always liked diso. I havta agree with the WR thing to. I mean Sure they'll do well, prolly playoffs but they arent unbeatable and that great. They arent the WR of old, i mean they lost MANy of there great baasers (mostly to pallies). And P_L is only as good as his team. He isnt brookus (yet atleast) where he can carry a team on his back. WR lacks great sharks. Sure some are decent but overall not great. Again no real threat in jav or wb that i know of. Spiders are mediocre/good. Nothing real great. They are active and practic alot tho so that is a plus.

I think some underdogs are like u said RB definatly can pull some upsets, Incuria? i dunno how ppl are rating them, but i think they got the ppl to do well. I'd like to say ppl are underrating BC/SK8/Melee but i dont think they are. I mean BC made some desperate moves getting Everest and Dragonscale, but that wont help them enuff. I think they can make some games close if ther best show but i dont see a good finish. Sk8 has some good basers too. Dont let them fool u. I mean Cuji is a decent terr, jard is a good backup terr, RR is a great shark, put him with Anzu or someone and u got urself a nice pair. I mean RR makes up for the other shark's lack of skill al ittle. There spiders are duelers, not as strong as synd/shriek/-f-'s dueling spiders but not bad. They'l play the 5 spider line all season i think. I think they'll do bad overall bc those ppl wont always show up, but if they do all show up i think they'll have a chance at some sneak wins.

zag, I agree with most of your comments about the squads, but not about how you think people are rating them.

I don't think I've seen anyone predict us to win everything except for us.

I don't know of anyone that's counting out the dueling squads.

I guess I don't really agree with you about diso and wr, I think diso will be in playoffs, and wr might be right on the edge.

from what i have seen so far, basingcrew is goin to surprise all. definitely underrated. yes, diso is kinda overrated by some people, but they are still strong and can cause lots of damage, they are in the playoff for sure. and as for pallies, cool people with wicked line ups. just don't go all wbs in a lb game

Mmm, are we talking about the actual Pallies squad here, or has some new squad named Pallies recently appeard.. To my knowledge anything named Pallies has never been cool in online Continuum game, although, if you're actually thinking of the "think they're cool" I think you'll have a case..

Seriously, what has Pallies ever done that is cool? Well, me wasting a few months in this game since the start of it, I haven't seen anything, but I might have missed out of stuff not being the most dedicated player such as Concshitnyard..

Lets break it down, any squad with a personality such as concshitnyard has uncool all written over it, unless the persons who worship it has absolutley no clue about reality.. But that being that case in this game, I just relized Pallies are cool to the people who waste their time in online continuum..
