TWLJ
Shriek vs. Grapevine - Grapevine proved me at least that they are not a total joke in javs by keeping Ancients under 20 kills, its impressive for a squad that I thought would be the black sheep of javs. Shriek on the other hand beat Syndicate in a close matchup and is imho the best team in the league, if they get their crazy lagrush going this game, I predict Shriek to walk all over Grapevine in under 10 mins. Cape has been owning lately, expecting a good 20 kills out of him.
Ideal lineups: Mess, Annul, merce, Cape, Ruine vs Cxi, Dark.Punk!, Purex, Deck, Phrenitis
MVP: Cape
LVP: Deck
Ancients vs. Syndicate - Syndicate lost in a tight match vs Shriek last week but I didn’t see it so I cant guess to what an extent as it their own fault or Shriek totally owning. However they are still a good team and will have no problems with Ancients here, cant predict much from an inactive team, only that they will not win. Winner to be Syndicate.
Ideal lineups: Fallen Haven, Plob#f, Sweeper, Utopia, SEAL vs Amputate, Rough, fireballz, Mr. Spam, 2dragons
MVP: Rough
LVP: Sweeper
Sk8 vs. Rapid - Again I have to say that a squad will only show up here, they lack the ability to do anything more than that Rapid, not in this league they wont do good. Sk8 on the other hand is one of the top jav squads this season, you might say “but they got physt download” and I will say, yes but he can only screw it so much, and that much is not enough for Rapid to win. Sk8 has real good teamwork except for Physt, that guy just wanders around base sightseeing, everytime he enters it seems to be the first time. Winner to be Sk8 regardless.
Ideal lineups: Ease, Physt, culex, Rogue, Horror vs Crystal, Carbon, Blindado, Piston, disown
MVP: Ease
LVP: Carbon
Egyptian vs. Elenya - Second learning experience for Elenya: Loosing to a real shit squad and manage to stay alive after it. Egyptian is nothing when it comes to javs, and neither is Elenya. So I don’t want to write anything about this shit match that noone but the teams involved will want to watch. I could write a book about how these two squadnames suck, but ill leave that to Cig Smoke. Winner to be Egyptian. I have to say that Cross can pull good scores occasionally, he is the one to watch from Egyptian this season.
Ideal lineups: Nasir, Cross, exploid, Incondor, WHiskey in the Jar vs Gemfire, Selanne, Jaime, Enterthegame, Summa
MVP: Cross
LVP: Jaime
Disoblige vs. Pirates - Finally a decent matchup worth predicting. Although this is my team I will for the sake of coherence be honest about this. Pirates is definitely a playoff squad, but so is Disoblige, and in my opinion Disoblige as a little more quality than Pirates, they are the same that won TWLJ + the best jav in Pirates that was Pjotter. I give Pirates a chance to win theoretically, but if they do, it will be an upset. They really disappointed me first round of preseason, regardless of the bot problems, they weren’t supposed to have to sub anyone at all, so even if the bot worked, using a sub would abeen a real choke. Ffs they were playing Egyptian lol. Winner here to be Disoblige.
Ideal lineups: SURPRISE vs Hercules, Dark!, Kim, Crazy Canockout, dan
MVP: SURPRISE
LVP: download (2-7 this time tho)
Melee vs. Tanked - Oooooo, clash of fucking titans. Tanked beat Pallies in first round of preseason, argue all you want that Pallies wasn’t trying, but it shouldn’t take much for them to beat Tanked if they are indeed a contender for TWLJ. Tanked is on a roll and wont stop here. Melee wont do anything worth recording this game, but they do have some names on roster that can pull some upsets. Tanked to walk all over them tho.
Ideal lineups: Limit, ragnarok., smackattack, hairygroin, Jebu vs Dril, Easton, iwill/u, genes, Spirit
MVP: Easton
LVP: Limit
Mambo vs. Dragonguard - As I said last week, Dragonguard is nothing in this league, and they didn’t change from a week to another, so they are still nothing. Mambo on the other hand is my bet for surprise squad of the season, they are getting really good for the players they have, they wont do anything major, but you can expect a try for playoffs, much like last seasons whiterrabitts. I predict Mambo for a flawless victory here.
Ideal lineups: B.Rabbit, MM GOD, subby, evul, fizzy vs Chronicbob, Machu, OceanboyNZ, newb, confluence
MVP: MM GOD
LVP: Chronicbob
-FINAL- vs. Pallies - Match of the week right here. Everyone is predicting Pallies to win and I don’t know why since I haven’t seen them jav well ever. Maybe they aren’t caring till TWL comes, so maybe they aren’t caring in this game either. If Pallies doesn’t bring their A game they will get tooled around with ease by –FINAL-, they can keep it close if they show their best tho, and let Blood do the rest. Might swing both ways, but ill probably expect more from -FINAL-
Ideal lineups: Joe, Domi, Sika, Appleseed, aprix vs Force of Nature, Blood, HELLZNO!, Legionair, Koan
MVP: Joe
LVP: KOAN
