Formula as currently implemented goes like so:

On the winning team, out of those with the fewest teamkills, the mvp is whoever has the most kills.

So theoretically you could have a guy on your team who goes 0-10 but gets mvp because everyone else tk'd. If you have a tk, your chances of getting mvp are in the gutter. It doesn't matter if you go 50-0 without the teamkills, you will not get mvp if anyone on your team has fewer teamkills.

The MVP formula in basing is fucked up.. Terr always gets mvp.. he just needs to sit in cram, let his burst go down alot and he got mvp.. even when you terr dies about 15 times in a game, as long as he kills enough.. A terr dieing 15 times shouldnt be mvp.

I don't like that formula. Kills minus teamkills minus deaths would be the best imo. Wasn't it like that last season?

I agree, a terr with any amount of deaths over 9 (single digits) shouldnt get mvp, unless they get about 5 Terr kills and 60+ kills. But i agree, the terr does seem to get MVP way to often.

MVP should get back to the way it was. You can't fight for the MVP now, I used to try getting MVP each game, but since it requeres to play like a cunt in spider im not anymore.. I dont think terriers/sharks needs the attention with an MVP like the spider does.

I used to play for MVP in base.. then I went for the 100 kills each 20 min base game.. then the basing system changed so i had to play for the mvp again wich was a bummer.. then they changed the mvp system.. ?go base is getting boring for the spiders..

What are you talking about... you can still get MVP in spider easy if you deserve it. I am not even a good spider and I have gotten MVP a few times in the past few weeks. In 4 out of 7 TWLB games this week, a spider got MVP. I just don't think you are trying hard enough if you really have to complain about this.

yeah i noticed this too... the total beating you speak of was a 50-46 loss... 4 kills isnt a blowout ... it's not like any of our players went 0-7 or something while tk'ing each other (just kidding )

yeah, although jamil probably isnt a starter but that was mostly mine and hercs fault cig... before the game, some of our starters said they'd be willing to sit because we were only facing rapid. we underestimated them. rogue/dark!/hercules/sky/exquisite didnt play. although we did have good players in, we just got outplayed. good game to rapid though.
