Hey everyone,
Here's what we know so far about the Egyptian situation. After the forfeit loss to Disoblige yesterday in TWLJ, where three squad members were held out of the game due to either lag issues or not having cleared the 7-day waiting period, the squad captain and co-captain decided it was best to just let go. Nas and Zapata had both left recently, and the squad as a whole was starting to become a bit shaky. Both toked and sk1ld3r (sp?) decided that they did not want to try and keep alive what was already in jeopardy of dying off.
After the dissolution, Egyptian assistant captain Yankee made an initial bid to keep the squad alive and continue participation in TWL under a new name. We had done this in the past (Immolate season 6), and have no objections to such. However, we have not heard anything from Yankee in the last 25 hours, and have yet to know a squad name, see a registration application for TWD, or have confirmation from other squad members that they are indeed continuing. Yankee had mentioned this to Pure_Luck, yet only briefly and has not been online since that discussion.
I have done what I can to contact Yankee, but have received no word from him or any other former members of Egyptian. Time is running out, and we will not wait much longer. I need to be contacted by midnight EST tonight (5 hours left from the time of this post). If not, then we will proceed with inviting two squads in to replace Egyptian's former league positions. Choosing of these squads will be done within the guideliness expressed in the TWL Rules.
