Here are the promised details on the writers I am looking for to put together articles for TWL. This is something I had wanted to do back in Season 5 when Trench Center began. It never got off the ground then, but so much has changed and now we have a vehicle for getting these articles out to the players.
This is what I am looking for:
Pure and simple, I want journalists. I want 6 people who will write in-depth articles about the happenings in TWL. Objectively, with a little bias thrown in for good humor. Not just stories about the squads, but stories about the league itself. As much reporting as any of these writers wants to do. Interviews, the works. I'd even encourage the writers to work together for point/counterpoint articles. Opinion articles, humor articles, all of its welcome. I'd even be open to having people write match reports for every game that would be included on the stats page for that game(I may use the reports sent for Trench Center shows for this).
I also want there to be a wide base of writers, covering and representing various portions of the globe. Europeans, Canadians, Americans, whoever!
There will be no restrictions on how many articles any one person would need to write, only that they be willing and able to stick it out til the end of the season.
I've already gotten a few submissions, but I'd like to get some more before I make some choices. Write up a well thought article, and email it to trenchwarsleagues@yahoo.com. Feel free to even do an interview piece. We'll start getting articles up when those sections are completed. The staff writers I choose will hopefully have weekly articles to submit for the whole season, and I will contact those I'd like to join personally.
Thanks!
